hotel, hotel reservation, discount hotel, hotel discount
Boost your self-esteem by scheduling your worry time.

Welcome to the three hundred and seventeenth day of our second volume of this series. On the corresponding day of the first volume we had:

Boost your self-esteem by treating your body as a temple of the Spirit.

Most of our worries never turn out. The few which may actually happen are those that we can do absolutely nothing about. Someone calculated that each year there is approximately eight hours that things that we worry about actually take place. So the suggestion is to schedule our worry time. We can be reasonably be worried eight hours a year, so select one Sunday in January as your freedom from worry day.

On this day watch some really funny movies while you think about all the things which could possibly go wrong in your life. The juxtaposition of laughter and your concerns will allow you to overcome those worries and show them who is the boss. Have plenty of fun and beat your worries through humor.

When you can laugh at something or someone your fears disappear. In this respect remember that fear stands for "False Evidence Appearing Real." As Jesus said, "The truth shall set you free." As F.D.R. said, "There's only one thing to fear and that's fear itself." As Rumi said, "The size of your greatness depends on the size of your dreams."

Thus laugh away your worries and have a most wonderful fulfilling life.

Quotes for today:

  • I have had a great deal of trouble in my life and most of it never happened -- anonymous.
  • He who goes with wolves learns to howl -- Spanish proverb.
  • It's not work that kills, but worry -- anonymous.
  • He who fears death dies every time he thinks of it -- Stanislas I, King of Poland.
  • Great hopes make great men -- Thomas Fuller.
  • Fortune favors the bold -- proverb.
