Welcome
to the three hundred and fifteenth day of our second volume
of this series. On the corresponding day of the first volume
we had:
Boost
your self-esteem by critical thinking.
Continuing where we left off yesterday, I want to recommend
you read this wonderful book: "Magic of
Thinking Big " by David J. Schwartz, Ph.D. The author
suggests that the first step to success is to to believe that
you can succeed. That is the minimum. The question is to get
such a belief? Schwartz gives three guides to strengthen one's
belief in one's self:
- Think success. Use positive affirmations such as "I'll
win," or "I can do it," or "I'll succeed."
- Remind yourself often that you are much
better than you imagine you are.
- Believe big. Have huge dreams. The size of your achievements
are directly related to the size of your beliefs. If you
have small goals, you achieve little. When you think big
goals you'll win huge success.
When you may think less of yourself, think of three people
with less intelligence, health, wealth and other characteristics
than you and yet they succeeded big. You will always manage
to find many people with fewer opportunities than you who
have dreamt big and hence achieved big.

his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing
he thinks about to be created -- W.D. Wattles in "Science

on yourself -- Robert Collier in "Secret

Collier in "Secret
of the Ages ."
